NANS One Million-Man March in Solidarity with President Tinubu on Democracy Day

National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, on Thursday, 12th June, 2025, held a One million students solidarity march in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, appreciating the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led Administration and also to mark the Democracy day.

In a speech given by the Olusola Ladoja, President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) he appreciated the president on behalf of Nigerian students for improvements in the educational sector and acknowledged the establishment of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, NELFUND and how the initiative has caused drastic declined the number of University dropouts.


In his statement he said; "This is the first president, for the last two years, there has been no interruption in education in this Nation, I'm talking about the strike, the normal ASSU strike, you know your four (4) year course is four (4) years and your five (5) year course is five (5) years"


He further added that the removal of ASSU from IPPS has been of advantage to Nigerian students and also for the first time the Government has invested hugely into the Educational system, with this they have gathered in solitary to appreciate the President for his good works
