Air Peace Sends a Clear Message: No One Is Above the Rules

In a press statement, Air Peace made its stance clear that “No one is above the law or company policy.” Thereby condemning Senator Adams Oshiomhole's behavior, who allegedly assaulted Air peace staff for sealing off the entry gate after boarding had already closed and blocked other passengers from accessing the terminal 

The airline in its statement stated that Oshiomhole's actions disrupted multiple operations, inconveniencing several travelers, it therefore condemned the senator’s actions and describe it as unacceptable, affirming its adherence to on‑time boarding rules and highlighted that it enforces discipline equally—focusing on safety, order, and respect for all passengers and staff.

UPDATE ON 2025 ELECTION

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled 16th August, 2025, by 8:30am for a series of by-elections to fill vacant seats in the National and State Assemblies across 12 states. This announcement was made by the INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, during a meeting with political party leaders in Abuja. The affected constituencies include Anambra South and Edo Central Senatorial Districts; Ovia South West/Ovia South East (Edo), Babura/Garki (Jigawa), Chikun/Kajuru (Kaduna), Ikenne/Shagamu/Remo North (Ogun), and Ibadan North (Oyo) Federal Constituencies. June 12 Protest : Organizers list Nationwide protest venues

  The Take it back Movement ahead of the June 12 Democracy day has revealed a list of protest venues across the Nation. The National coordinator of the movement , Juwon Sanyaolu, stated that the protests will be held in at least 20 locations nationwide  "in Abuja, we will converge at Eagle Square by 8:00 am, in Lagos, we have four locations: Badagry, Maryland, Agbara and Toll Gate all starting by 7:00am" he said"    Other locations include Cathedral Junction in Akure, Ondo State (8 am), Museum Ground in Benin City (9 am), and Gida Matasa in Niger State (8 am), Amukpe Roundabout in Sapele, Summit Junction, Koka Junction in Asaba.
